I have Ubuntu 9.10 and a Lexmark Z series printer that will not print the color onto the paper sheet. The cartridges are new, and the device had worked 3 months ago, but when connected it today, the device is malfunctioning. Are there any suggestion?

Can you tell me more about what is isn't doing? Does it start to print? Does it print black and white but not color? Does it print but nothing comes out? Does it work on a different computer? Is it even being detected by the computer?

Two "usual suspects" in any print troubleshooting are the print drivers, or sometimes as simple as restarting the computer and the printer.
